Peggy’s Cove Food Factory

On my way to peggys cove, I stopped by this food truck as it was convenient and on the way. The food was fresh and the calamari was super good. I recommend the lobster roll and calamari if you stop by, the fish and chips was ok

An absolute "must go here" experience. The food is superb the staff is the friendliest in Canada and Murray (the owner) makes you feel like family. So glad we stopped for lunch.

Visiting this area at the very beginning of October makes lobster rolls a bit more elusive and many seasonal places are already shutting down, but this Food truck really delivered just what we were looking for on our last night in Nova Scotia! The lobster roll was really tasty with a melt in your mouth roll. Fries were cooked just the way I like-crispy on outside, soft inside. The fish and chips were also great…very fresh, flaky fish fillets. The owner and operator was super friendly and helpful and gave excellent customer service! some places really skimp on how much tartar sauce they give you and he had all of the condiments laid out for you to take whatever you needed. I highly recommend to stop here right after you see the beautiful sunset at the lighthouse.

We stopped here for fish n chips on the way back from Peggy’s cove. Great location and very friendly staff. The owner was there and got in the kitchen and went above and beyond to make sure our meal wasn’t just delicious, but we were all well looked after. Fish was fresh and hand breaded right after we ordered. The breading was perfectly crispy and light, not greasy or heavy at all. Great selection of drinks on site and music playing outside was great. Was told there’s live music there on the weekends which would make this and even more remarkable experience. Awesome selection of ice cream inside the shop for the kids. Very glad we stopped here and would be back again anytime I’m in the area. Very, very good fish and chips and the service was even better.

We stopped here after visiting Peggys Cove and it was amazing! I had seen many great recommendations and were so pleased! My son had the lobster roll and my husband and I had the fish and chips. Both were amazing. The manager/owner was so attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed. He even found me malt vinegar . All the staff was friendly and approachable. The staff in the ice cream shop was also friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the area. Would give 10 stars if I could!!!

We stopped here last fall on the quest for the best lobster roll in Nova Scotia. This place won hands down! Super friendly staff. If you are looking for a bite to eat after visiting Peggy’s Cove, this is the spot. Awesome fish and chips as well…. We stopped by again and were not disappointed!

Food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. The owner is absolutely lovely. There is plenty of outdoor seating and it's a nice area to walk around if you want to stay a while. Be sure to check out the little convenience store and treat yourself to some ice cream - the salted caramel flavor is what dreams are made of!!
